If you don't know, cockroaches love coffee. And there is a 100% chance that if you're drinking ground up coffee, you're probably drinking ground up cockroaches too. Now why am I telling y'all this? For a few reasons. Number one, I just recently went to the doctor and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my GI tract. They thought that I had Crohn's disease, a gluten allergy, a low blood pressure, you name it. They also did allergy tests, but do you know what they didn't test for? The ingredient cochineal or carmine, which is literally ground up bugs. And it's not only in your coffee, it's also in a lot of processed foods. So then I had to go and get a special test for that. And come to find out, that's exactly what I've been allergic to this entire time. And then the doctor laughs like, oh, a little protein never hurt nobody. But in your case, it is hurting you. So I go home and I start doing research, right? And the reason why there's evidence of ground up cockroaches in the coffee beans is because, again, roaches love coffee. They go to the beans, the beans are ground up and mass produced and just bagged. You can't avoid all the cockroaches, so you just grind them up. But one way to avoid this is by buying whole bean coffee and grinding it yourself. And the darker the coffee, the higher the protein content. And as I mentioned before, the cochineal extract is not just in our coffee, it's in our processed foods as well. It's in our frozen fish and meat, yogurt and ice cream, ketchup, canned fruits and even some of our pre-made drinks, like energy drinks, soft drinks and alcohol. So how do you avoid eating the roaches? Number one, you're gonna check your ingredients. Anything that has cochineal or carmine in it, those are bug extracts. And buy your items fresh, I know they don't last as long, but hell, follow somebody who knows how to can. And buy whole coffee beans, not ground coffee beans.
