Why it worked

The video taps into a common desire for upgraded tech for creative purposes, leveraging a relatable pain point (small phone screen for editing) and a timely sale at a popular retailer (Target) to create a sense of urgency and excitement.

Summary

The creator goes to Target to buy an iPad because they are tired of editing on their phone. They decide to purchase a silver iPad due to a $50 off sale and plan to look for a case.

Structure

1Decides to buy an iPad due to small phone screen
2Goes to Target to take advantage of a sale
3Navigates the store and interacts with an employee
4Selects a silver iPad over pink

Transcript

Come with me to buy an iPad!! I am so tired of editing on my phone because the screen's so small. So we're gonna go buy an iPad. I've been looking at them for a couple weeks now and they're $50 off right now at Target. So, what better time? I don't know why I'm like, kind of nervous. I'm literally so excited. Oh my gosh. I am literally so excited. Oh my gosh. I did go ahead and get the silver color. I was kind of thinking about getting the pink because I love pink, but I'm gonna have a case on it and if I ever decide to sell it, I think silver will probably sell better. I think I'm gonna run to the best buy now and check out the cases because I do not want to break her. I bought an iPad!!!!🤭📱💫 i am literally SO excited!! i think i was 10 years old the last time i owned an iPad lol
