🏬 Another stop in the Dead Mall Series… and this one is wild. Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro, Massachusetts opened in 1989 as a massive three-story shopping destination. Today, we found nearly empty upper floors, rows of vacant storefronts, broken escalators, deteriorating parking garages, and the massive three-story former Sears sitting dark behind its gates. But Emerald Square isn’t completely dead. The first floor still has life, and a huge card and collectibles show brought crowds back into the mall—showing that maybe places like this still have a future if they can find new ways to bring people through the doors. At one point this mall was valued at around $167 MILLION. A decade later, it changed hands for just $29 million. 😳 If you remember Emerald Square in its glory days, tell me your favorite store or memory in the comments! 👇 #DeadMallSeries #DeadMalls #Nostalgia #MallNostalgia #massachusetts
