Why it worked

The video uses a relatable, high-stakes personal story about chronic illness to frame the product as a thoughtful, caring solution, making the brand mention feel authentic rather than like an advertisement.

Summary

The creator shares a personal story about her father going out of his way to get her a healthy meal from So Fresh while the rest of the family eats pizza during her ulcerative colitis flare-up. The video highlights the quality of the meal as a positive alternative for her dietary needs.

Product placement

So Fresh (a restaurant chain): (a) ACTS — the creator shows the bowl, opens the lid, and describes it as having better ingredients than the pizza her family is eating. Removing it would change the video as it is the central subject of the story.
