I stopped chasing money and started praying for these 5 things instead. 1. My purpose and calling. I pray that God shows me why He created me and gives me the courage to walk in it. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…” — Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) 2. Complete trust in God. To trust Him even when I don’t understand what He’s doing. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 (KJV) 3. The ability to live in today. To stop worrying about tomorrow and be present with what God has given me today. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow…” — Matthew 6:34 (KJV) 4. A generous heart. I don’t just want God to bless me. I want Him to bless others through me. 5. Financial wisdom. Not just more money, but the wisdom to manage, save, give, and invest what God puts in my hands.
