I’m feeling gutted and frustrated about my health, and trying not to let all or nothing thinking take over. I spent years losing weight, getting fit, dealing with my grief and importantly getting my adhd impulsivity and dopamine seeking in check (particularly when it came to alcohol and food). And now it feels like I’m back to square one (minus the drinking thankfully). I’ve rapidly gained weight, my cholesterol is super high, liver function is off and my GP has been clear that things need to change. I know I am super lucky and there are a gazillion people worse off, but in this moment it feels gutting after all the work that I have done on my health. I was saying to my fiancèe last night that it’s almost funny that some people dismiss adhd, if only they really saw the impact on a person’s life (and their loved ones). I will share more soon I just wanted to be open with you all, I think it’s important I share both the ups and the downs with you, I just know there is at least one person watching who feels like I do ❤️ Thank you for the support as always x #adhd
