We're back with part two of making over my husband's office. We left off with running out of wallpaper. So we've got more wallpaper, we're gonna finish that up today and then hopefully get a little decorating going on so we can really make this place pop. Let's do it. I had to order eight more rolls of wallpaper to finish up this project. And after the fourth consecutive hour of peeling, sticking, smoothing over and over and over again, I started thinking we should have done an accent wall. But when you're in this deep, all you can do is keep going. I can honestly say if I see any peel and stick wallpaper in the near future, it will be too soon. I'm not quite sure why this paper has vertical looking lines where the seams are, but it looks like the color was just darker on the printing. Last piece that we can decorate. Regardless of how I feel about the wallpaper, and it's first time working on a DIY project together, two months away from being homeowners, it was good to test the waters and see how well we can work together because this is only the beginning. The vibe and style I was going for was a lighter version of dark academia. Don't look too closely at this lamp. We broke it, but we have a plan to fix it. This is a wireless remote control outlet that you use a remote control to turn on and off all the lamps I ordered everything off Amazon to my shop, a source of anything. All of the small decor was under $40 and the most expensive items were the lamps, but they were still under a hundred bucks. Go ahead and guess this project cost total. I'll give you a hint. It was not what I would call a budget project for a workplace office makeover, but it would probably be a budget project for a full home office right now. Now these are the long shots. Let's see if they work. This is nice. Now for the surprise tech reveal. Oh. On. Fancy like. That's pretty freaking fancy. As you can see, my husband really loves it. I think he was truly impressed that the vision came to life. It certainly levels above the boring dungeon with no personality that it was before. How did you think it turned out?
