everything we ate at MN STATE FAIR opening day! I really wanted to try the Tanghulu from the new vendor lemochi Japanese Confections so of course we went there first honestly I think the grapes were a little too sweet but the strawberries and Mandarin oranges were so good the tangy fruit with the crunchy sugar was the perfect snack to get our day going we had to go try the new Hmong corndog but I could not pass up on the coconut lychee colada that I got last year because it was so good honestly the corndog didn't really surprise me that much I felt like I already knew what is was gonna taste like but the pepper sauce that it came with was so good that we literally had to go get extra so we could eat it with other things then I was craving something sweet and so we had to go to Minneapple Pie to get the BEST deep fried pies I think this is my favorite dessert at the State Fair it's so good that my boyfriend was convinced that this was his favorite thing he ate all day next my dad wanted to go get pork chop on a stick and honestly it was even better with the pepper sauce from Union Kitchen so tender and it was seasoned so well next we headed over to Chan's for the chicken on a stick and oh my gosh I think this is the most tender chicken I've ever tasted it was so delicious and of course you know we had to put that pepper on it then we went to get some sirloin tips and honestly these always hit it's more worth the money because they give you a lot my mom was craving hotdogs so we went and got the chicago dog and this was pretty good pretty standard and you know it's not the MN State Fair if you don't go and get Sweet Martha's Cookies every year we always get a bucket so that we can take it home and eat it for the rest of the week but this time we were even smarter cause my boyfriend brought tupperware so we could actually bring all the cookies home then we made our way to Big Fat Bacon this one is always a hit so juicy and so sweet oh my gosh we were all pretty full at this point so we went and got cocktails and ice cream both were so delicious and exactly what we needed then we went to go get my dad's favorite and I don't know if it's because it was the first day and everything was super fresh but oh my gosh this was the most tender Turkey leg we've had at the State Fair and my boyfriend and I could not leave the fair without our favorite the brisket cheese curd tacos WOWW so crunchy and so delicious it was the perfect way to end the MN State Fair day 1
