If you don't have a portfolio yet, brands are not taking you seriously. Let me show you how to fix that for free. If you're new here, hi, my name is Jannie and I've made $25,000 from UGC in the last three months. I recently quit my 9 to 5 job to pursue UGC full time. Quick context, your portfolio is your storefront, it is your resume. When a brand looks at your portfolio, you want to make it so easy for them to say yes. So what you're gonna do is save this video and you're gonna go on Canva and build your portfolio for completely free. One important thing before you start, you wanna create a website, not a presentation. A brand needs to be able to scroll up and down, not just click through slides. Page 1 is your hero or your landing page. This is the first thing they see, so it needs to stop them immediately. A well-lit photo where you can clearly see your face, not blurry, not filtered. Of course, make sure you include your name, all your socials, and your email hyperlinked so that they can click it easily. Next is an analytics page. So if you have any analytics, make sure that you include those here. If you don't have any yet, do not worry, just skip this page completely and come back to it when you do. Next page, which is arguably the most important page, is your UGC examples. This is what they actually came to see, so make sure you're giving it the most space. You're also separating your videos into categories. You can do it by paid ads versus organic or by niche. Honestly, whatever makes the most sense for your portfolio, but just be sure to label every single video with the type of UGC it is, problem solution, three reasons why, product demo, before and after. Brands want to be able to visualize exactly what you and the labels will just make that easier. Next, you're gonna want an about me page. Please keep this short. If your about me page is a long paragraph about yourself, most brands will read your first sentence and then just keep on scrolling. So I like to use simple bullet points instead. Include your age, where you're based, a few fun HUMAN facts about yourself. You want to come across as a real person, not a robot. And of course, include a photo or a short about me video here. It makes the whole page feel warmer and more personal. Next is your credibility page. Brands that you've worked with in the past, also include testimonials that you've collected here. And if you haven't worked with any paid brands yet, do not panic. You can just title this page brands I've created content for and include the brands from your mock content. You did technically create content for them. Next, you want a services and packages page. Here you're gonna list all the types of content you offer, but do not put your rates anywhere on this page or anywhere on the portfolio at all. If you list your rates publicly, you might accidentally lock yourself into a price when the brand actually has a much higher budget. In other words, always leave room to negotiate. On the final page, you'll want to close with another photo of yourself. If you have like a slogan or a tagline, make sure you put that here too. And once again, hyperlink your email and all of your socials. Basically, make it as easy as possible for them to contact you. And that's your entire portfolio, built for free on Canva in one sitting.
