Ahmed al-Hanjoul travels with his camera searching for expressive faces rather than professional models. He photographs children, adults, and elderly people he meets along the way, often recording the simple encounter before revealing the finished portrait. Originally from Palestine, raised in Beirut, and now living in Germany, Ahmed discovered photography almost by accident in 2014. Over time, he realized that faces were the subject that connected with him most. Wrinkles, eyes, gestures, and quiet expressions become a way of preserving the character and story of each person. His portraits have earned recognition internationally, but the relationship with the people remains central to his work.
