Caramel apple pie tiramisu with homemade caramel sauce, cinnamon-spiced mousse, and layers of apple pie filling 🥧✨ Apple Filling: 3 Medium granny smith apples (peeled and diced) juice from 1/2 lemon 2 tablespoons maple syrup 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Pudding Mousse: 1 pkg (3.4oz) Instant vanilla pudding 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon apple pie spice 1½ cups whole milk 1¼ cups heavy whipping cream ¾ cup powdered sugar 8 oz mascarpone cheese Assemble: ½ cup whole milk 2 pkg (7oz) Ladyfingers ¼ cup caramel sauce crumb topping (optional) Caramel Apple Filling: -Peel and dice the apples into small, bite-sized pieces. Toss the apples with the juice of half a lemon. -Add the brown sugar, maple syrup, flour, and cinnamon. Stir until the apples are evenly coated. -Transfer to a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender and the mixture has thickened. If the apples begin sticking to the pan, add 1–2 teaspoons of water as needed. Set aside and allow the apple filling to cool completely. Pudding Mousse: -In a medium bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix, cinnamon, and apple pie spice. -Pour in the milk and whisk until smooth and fully combined. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes, or until the pudding has set. -While the pudding chills, prepare the whipped cream. In a large bowl, add the heavy and beat on high just until stiff peaks starts to form. Add the powdered sugar and continue whipping until the cream holds stiff peaks. Set aside. -In a separate bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese on medium-high for 2–3 minutes until smooth and creamy. -Add the chilled pudding mixture, beating until everything is smooth and there are no lumps. -Gently fold in half of the whipped cream until fully incorporated. Assemble: -Line a 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.Prepare a shallow bowl with milk. -Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the milk and arrange them in an even layer across the bottom of the pan. -Drizzle with caramel sauce (I made my own, let me know if you want the recipe! store bought works as well!) -Spread half of the pudding mousse evenly over the ladyfingers. Spoon half of the apple pie filling and gently spread it into an even layer. -Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers, drizzle of homemade caramel sauce, the rest of the mousse over the top, followed by the remaining apple filling. -Finish with the remaining whipped cream and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the tiramisu to set. -Just before serving, drizzle with more homemade caramel sauce and sprinkle with a crumb topping, chopped walnuts, crushed graham and crackers, and/or toffee pieces. #applepie #tiramisu #tiramisuserts #DessertRecipes #nobake
