Condos are a money pit. Sure you got the condo for a 100k but 3 years later you have a bill from your condo association that you owe an additional $23,000. If you don’t pay that special assessment you will be foreclosed on. Condos are not an affordable housing option. You are giving too much control of you home and money to people who are not responsible enough to collect the proper amount of dues for future problems.
