How the hell do phones like this take photos in the dark? This is the Samsung The all-new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra Galaxy AI Ultra, it can pull pretty decent photos out of basically nothing. How does it now? Cameras take the light, phone, lens, image processor, signals, beautiful image. So when there isn't a lot of light, your phone basically has a very big problem. Is where ISO comes in. It's basically taking the signal and boosting the hell out of it. But it also boosts all of the noise. That's when you get all these spots that pop up on the image. So then how do we get this with night mode? Basically, night mode is taking multiple pictures at different high, medium, low exposures, letting in more light for the one and less light for the other one. Then they take the data of all three of those and make its best guess on how the photo should be looking. That's also why it takes a little longer. But you've got to admit, they're getting really good at the fact that phones are able to do this now is insane.
