Lord Jesus, thank you so much for this great month of September.

Lord Jesus, thank you so much for this great month of September. A month of beginning, back at school. Lord God, there's so many opportunities to build new friendships, to grow old friendships, to represent you on a college campus, or in a high school campus, or on a new job. Lord God, use us. We want you to use us. We surrender every area of our lives to your Lordship, not us. Lord, thank you that as we make, we're sure that you are in charge, not us. Lord, thank you that as we make, we're sure that you are in charge of every area of our lives. We will grow exponentially in our faith. We will leap forward and surrender totally to you being our savior and our Lord. Help us to do that well. Lord, we thank you for the fall and how there are new beginnings now. Thank you so much that we can forget the old mistakes, old failures, old obstacles that we didn't work through, and that we can look to the future now and present to work through new obstacles, new temptations, to grow closer to you, to grow closer to others, to have a healthier understanding of what our citizenship in heaven really looks like, to have a clearer understanding of what you want for us in the future. Thank you, Jesus, that ultimately you give us the opportunity to do the greatest thing in this world, which is to share you with other people who are suffering or whoever going through good times, that they can get to know you and that we can see them in heaven is the greatest opportunity and the greatest burden for us all to do together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
