you are using your Athena palette wrong, or any oil based paint, honestly. Do you guys just take your brush straight into it like this? And then put it on your face like so? Because that's what I used to do, until I found out you're actually not supposed to be doing that. Like it takes a lot for it to look good. See as you can see, it's not as bright. Like it is in the middle where I put it down, but as you can see it's like not covering that much ground. So what you're going to do instead, you're going to take a palette or anything you can put the paint on. You're going to take a little spatula like this. So you're going to take the paint and you're going to scoop it out like so, and then you're going to put it down onto the palette and you're going to warm up the paint. I literally had this palette for years. I was using it for years and I just found out that you're supposed to be warming up the paint and it works so much better for me. So you're just going to want to mix it around a little bit, just get it warmed up. I don't actually put that much on it, but let me take our brush. It's going to lay down so much smoother, I feel like, and it's going to go a lot longer of a way. I didn't put that much on it, but hold on, let me put more on it. And then you're just going to take it. It's going to lay down so much smoother, I feel like, and it's going to go a lot longer of a way. I didn't put that much on it, but hold on, let me put more on it. And then you're just going to take it. I know it looks really similar, but I swear there is a difference in doing this. Firstly, it's just a lot easier on the palette, you can mix colors up more. Like I feel like it's bright every time and I don't have to worry about it running out. It just feels so much smoother. It just feels so much smoother. This side is obviously way brighter. Like you can see this side is very faded. That was the side that we did without mixing our oil paint. And this is the side with mixing our oil paint. I did add a little bit more on here because I felt like it wasn't enough. But also just doing this you get more product on the brush as well, rather than just sticking it into the paint. You can literally tell a difference. And like you can't really, but you can. Like you can obviously tell this is faded and not as bright compared to this. This just looks way more fuller and brighter. Literally like I feel so stupid. I literally did not know this. And you can do this for any oil based paint you have. I have this really old palette that isn't the Athena palette and it's still oil based paint and it works so much better doing this. I was like oh, that's why it took me like 10,000 years to paint one spot and also why the colors were always faded and just never really there. I just want to let everyone know because I get a lot of people on my lives asking how I use the palette and that their paint comes out very faded and I had to learn it too. So I just want to tell y'all and inform y'all because it's there's a huge difference in it. Even if you can't really see it, there is definitely a difference. If you have tips for me, let me know. Okay, bye. Thanks.
