We send our daughter to nursery in London and we've just had a job change so she's going now four days a week to nursery and I thought it would be interesting to compare prices for nursery in London, the UK to the US or other parts of the world. She goes four days a week. We qualify based on our income for the 30 funded hours and for tax-free childcare. Total is £1,112.75. £1,112. So, £222.55 of that, I only pay £890.20 per month for four days. That is about $1201 a month. This includes all diapers, nappies, whatever. It includes all meals, so they get breakfast, snack, and lunch and tea before we pick them up. This is stretch funding, which means they funding throughout the year instead of having it just during term time. So I'm curious, how does this compare to where you live, UK, parts of Europe and how does it compare if you live in the US? Let me know in the comments how much you pay for childcare.
