£135K IS NOT A COMFY SALARY IN LONDON W KIDS a £135,000 salary is barely enough to survive when you live in London and have more than one child already I can see the comments but I can prove it to you in less than 30 seconds before I had children and went on maternity leave in 2024 my net take home salary was 6,400 pounds this is my last paycheck an insane amount of money I think and I'm sure a lot of you will agree but mortgage £2,200 for an average sized house in London for a family of four full time childcare for my two children who are almost one and three £3,600 that's almost 5k gone on just the mortgage and childcare like before a single Bill is paid before a single item of food is bought before the saving and investing like you expect to be living lavish on 130k salary and of course the solution is to have a partner who also makes money to have additional streams of income blah blah blah but I feel like 130k should be enough there is no real takeaway from this video except maybe don't live in London and don't have kids
