Things I would never charge for as a hair stylist. Drinks in the salon, whether that's coffee, wine, water, I don't care. You're not getting charged for any of that, that's weird. Blow drying your hair, that's included with your service. I am not charging you another fee for blow drying your hair. I want to see your hair dry and I want to make sure that everything looks good. I'm blow drying your hair. Curling your hair, that's included in your service. You're not getting charged extra for that. If you don't want curls, that's okay. You don't have to get them, but my curls are pretty great and they last for a really long time. So I do like to curl my client's hair after they've seen their hair straight to make sure that it looks good. Bang trims, especially if you're already a client of mine. If you're a regular client of mine and you need your bangs trimmed, it takes me five minutes. I'm not charging you for that, that's weird. If you're a new client and you just want to like come get bangs but not a full haircut, I'll probably charge you something for that, but I'm not going to charge you for a full haircut. This one might be a little bit controversial, but being late, I'm not going to charge you for being late. Now, especially if it's like five minutes, five, ten minutes, it's fine. I'll make up the difference, it's not a big deal. If you're like 15 to 20 minutes late, you're going to start losing services, right? So like I'm not going to be able to curl your hair and you might have to leave with damp hair because you showed up 20 minutes late to your appointment. If you are chronically 20 to 30 minutes late, then we're going to have a talk and if you keep doing it, I'll fire you as a client. But I really don't mind if people are late, shit happens and I'm usually like right on time. I'm not late and I'm not early, it really doesn't matter. I'll make it up, it's not a big deal. What do you guys think? Do you prefer a la carte pricing where everything is split or do you like it to all be included in your service?
