Hook
Go to checkout and the woman tells me that I owe her like $75. And I was like, $75? Just last week when I was here it was $45. Can I ask what's the Now, most hair salons have a history of what they charge, like we do. So, if someone was charged $45 and then you want to jump to $75, you need to tell them that before they go up to the front desk. That's just how I would handle it. Now, my blow-dry prices are higher because I'm also in New York, and if I would have blown out your hair, it would have had a smoother, flatter top. I don't know if you slept on it, but like, I'm supportive of you. I know what you're saying. Just because you have a little check box and you say, oh, they have thick hair, charge them more, doesn't mean they should be charged more unless they know they're being charged more. That's just how I feel. It's like, if I blocked out way too much time for somebody just because I wanted it, I can't just charge them and be like, well, because I had to block out 4 hours, but then they notice I did their hair in 2 and a half. You know what I mean? Like, you have to communicate your pricing and your price structure. Sometimes when people call and they're blow-outs, they might say the blow-out starts at this. If you say you have a lot of hair, it might be slightly more, or if like, it becomes more formal and we have to like, roller set and curl and tease, there might be a higher price. But usually, they pay what they're told on the phone. And especially, like, we look at their history. Does that make sense? Does that help?
