Use the "wrong" pronoun just once and a student could face suspension, a lawsuit against a New Jersey school district warns. Moms for Liberty CEO Tina Descovich says the district's policies can discipline students who refuse to use another student's preferred name or pronouns, even if they slip up accidentally. "They can do that just one time on accident, and they can be punished up to suspension." The lawsuit also targets a policy allowing students to change their name and gender identity at school without requiring their parents to be notified.
