These are the milks I personally DON'T buy anymore: ❌Oat milk - often highly processed + can contain added oils, gums and sugar. Can be a sugar bomb for your mornings. ❌Almond milk with gums + emulsifiers - I check for ingredients like carrageenan, polysorbate 80 and unnecessary gums. ❌Conventional dairy milk - if I'm doing dairy, I prioritize organic + grass-fed when possible to reduce pesticide exposure and improve the overall fat profile. ❌"Barista blend" plant milks — that extra-creamy texture often comes with added oils, stabilizers + emulsifiers. ❌Sweetened plant milks - some contain surprising amounts of added sugar. ❌Flavored milk — chocolate, vanilla, strawberry... usually means added sugars + a much longer ingredient list. ❌Rice milk — rice can be a significant dietary source of inorganic arsenic, so it's not something I choose as an everyday milk. My rule now? The shorter the ingredient list, the better. HERE'S MY GO-TO LIST OF MILKS - DAIRY AND NON-DAIRY - THAT I ACTUALLY DRINK AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT AS A CANCER SURVIVOR. MY RULE WITH ANY MILK: CHECK THE LABEL FOR GUMS, CARRAGEENAN, AND EMULSIFIERS. Raw & Local Farm Milk If you tolerate dairy, milk from a trusted local farm is as clean as it gets. Maple Hill 100% grass-fed, grass-finished milk — simple dairy done right. Alexandre Family Farm A2/A2 organic, 100% grass-fed milk. Coconut Milk My favorite dairy alternative — less processed, naturally creamy, with naturat sugars. Walnut Milk Clean and simple when made without gums or fillers. Macadamia Milk Same idea - always check for a short ingredient list. Clean Nut Milk Brands I Trust • Malk • Elmhurst • Three Trees • New Barn Organics • Mooala (Simple line)
