I built the cutest little magnets. These things are literally like microscopically small. Didn't even know magnets could come in that size. But I'm going to glue some of these to the main structure of our vending machine and the front display as well. So that these two pieces can actually snap together magnetically. Can you kind of see it coming together? Wow, it's really exposing how dirty my workspace is. I made this little printable of all the prices of each item, so I'm going to cut them out and glue them underneath each little slider. I'm going to snap the front piece back on. I trim around the window with some really skinny strips of silver cardstock. I also ended up trimming around this little door and putting letters that spell out push. I have this other printable that I'm going to glue to the side of the vending machine. And so I think our DIY vending machine is pretty much complete. The only thing left to do is fully stock it with some snacks and drinks. So let's take off the front. And I did end up actually modifying all of the sliders to have three slots so that I can hold three items each. I have these two gummy bear bags that I'll put in one of the sliders. I'm stealing some of the items from our other vending machines. And although there are three compartments now, I'm really only still putting two items in each divider because I'm limited on items. I'm so excited to fill up these smaller sliders because I made these little Monster energy drinks. They're going to be so perfect for in the vending machine and they make so much sense to be in a gym. And I actually did make three of the white and black ones. For the very bottom shelf, I have some Mini Brands bottled water, which I'm realizing right now they could also just like get water from the water cooler right next to the vending machine. But you know, there's probably always going to be that extra person that just needs the dollar fifty cent water bottle. I made these little protein bars. And I have these little Olipop cans. I'm going to turn on our little LED lights at the top. And I'm really excited to see what this is about to look like once we put the front back on. Oh my gosh. It's kind of amazing. And just you wait until you can see how it actually works. I think it's time we switch the red one out with our new one. However, the only thing you might be wondering about is like these things in the back here. Those aren't going to sit nice and flush against our wall. But thankfully I already accounted for that. There's a hole in the wall. So that these little pushers can just go right through. Just like that. Ta-da. Wait, that actually looks so good. I will say I kind of miss the pop of color from the red vending machine, but I do think this one looks better overall. But the real question is, does it work better? Immediately the first difference is I don't have a little credit card to insert into the vending machine, that if it's not inserted will prevent it from working. So that's already one downside of mine compared to the other one. But we can still pretend that we're just scanning the credit card to pay. Beep. Whatever noise. Okay. Then we can fake select which number we want. So let's just do that top one. A2, okay. Beep. Beep. And then I can grab it in here. That's pretty fun, guys. That's pretty fun.
