Last night was bad bad. He went from screaming because he was hungry to refusing everything I offered him. He got weaker, I tried Karo, I tried mom, I tried feeding him again, and eventually I had to accept that I couldn’t keep fighting his little body all night. I put him back in his warm penthouse and went to bed genuinely thinking I might wake up without him. Then 3am came. I picked him up expecting the worst and this tiny 145g (yes he lost weight again) willingly took almost 3ml like he hadn’t just put me through absolute hell for six hours. He’s still here.
