Remember that time people were sharing, uh, propaganda they weren't falling for? Here's some propaganda I'm not falling for. Um, piracy is okay, actually. I think piracy is pretty based. As a matter of fact, I think that a lot of y'all don't hate piracy. I think you just hate broke people. And knowing this platform, I'm hoping that you haven't paused the video to type out a lengthy comment about how I'm actually so wrong on that and that's such an absurd take for me to make, but, like, think about it. Think about it. Aside from people who just don't want to fund problematic artists, the biggest reason that people pirate content is probably because, oh, I don't know, they can't afford to keep up with five, six, maybe- different streaming services- I'm not giving you all the satisfaction. Um, especially when things jump around from service to service, or things get removed from service to service. Think about it. And when you point that out, people love to move the goal post and go, "heh, well, if you can't afford that entertainment, then clearly you aren't deserving of it!!1!1!" Hmm. So people can only deserve entertainment if they have the funds to pay for it? Sounds like hating broke people to me...! And also, really, that whole sentiment is another symptom of TikTok's whole "I'm gonna try to look like a better person by doing absolutely nothing" mindset. Because if you really cared about the fact that they're not able to pay for that content. Then why not pay for them? Why not pay for them
