What would you do if I told you the coolest castle in Europe is in Slovenia because it is and this is most people think of Neuschwanstein in Germany or the Loire Valley castles in France but the coolest castle in Europe is in Slovenia and outside of Slovenia hardly anyone has heard of it first it's literally built into the mouth of a 123 meter limestone cliff and holds the Guinness World Record for the largest cave castle on Earth second the history is wild in the 1400s a knight called Erasm hid here after killing one Roman Emperor's men the Imperial Army besieged the castle for over a year and couldn't get in because Erasm had a secret cave tunnel in the back where he kept restocking food and he would throw down cherries and roasted pigs to mock the army the story goes he was eventually killed when a servant outed him while he was in an unfortified spot of the toilet third every July the castle holds a medieval knights tournament with jousting and everything to visit use Mio because it turns your saved videos folder into a travel map and if you're wondering where this is it's called Predjama Castle in Slovenia
