MAKEUP PRODUCT BATTLE: BATTLE OF THE LOOSE POWDERS (the top powders in the industry right now) Now, I feel like everybody has their favorites, but there's some new bits that's coming to the picture and personally, I know which one is my favorite. I'm gonna go through all of them before I talk about which one is my favorite and why. First, I'm gonna talk about the OG, because she is the OG. Laura Mercier. She's the one that put the loose powder girls on the map. Let's be real, like your first loose powder, I mean, you might have used a drugstore one, but I think that everybody had this, especially in 2016. This was the powder that you were going to use soft and not so cakey, not so heavy, you know, it gives you the coverage that you need and really locks your makeup in place. A lot of people have gone back to this, and there's a reason. I know people personally that said they've gone back to this, and I completely understand. And I might have to go back to this. Now, let's talk about Huda Beauty. I'm gonna make a separate post about Huda Beauty. And I don't hate Huda Beauty products, I just think that she does too much and she needs to reel it back and actually find and stop like, giving us a viral stuff. Just give us staple things that we will want in our kit and consistently having our kit, you know. Everyone has a Charlotte Tilbury, everyone has a one size. Everyone has a Charlotte Tilbury, everyone has a one size. I'm just sick of the viral launches. Anyway, another post. But this, it's a good powder. It's a good powder. I'm a bit more on the heavier side for me. Um, and I don't like that anymore. I think I stopped liking that years ago. I stopped using this powder years ago. Like when the hype was in for this powder, I bought it and I enjoyed it, but I used to use a yellow shade. It was cool enough for the shade that I was using. And that was the trend. So I had a yellow ass face. Anyway, I think this is a good powder. They've got a lot more range. There's a lot more, but I think that the range is not so like, in your face, like it's quite strong. Like the pigment is quite strong. I think there was also issues with fragrances. Anyway, the one size. I love it. I love it. I love it. Don't use anything else. It's all I use. Now, Charlotte Tilbury, which just launched. I am going to try. I'm gonna buy that. Um, I'm literally going to London tomorrow. So I'm gonna go and buy that and then give my honest opinion. For real for real, but I think that this shade range is basically, it's not so much of a yellow powder, like it's more of a skin-tone powder. I love. So I'm keen to try this one. Like I've never wanted to try powder more than this one and this one. When I bought it, I tried it and I liked it. Let's see if I end up transitioning to be a Charlotte Tilbury setting powder girl. All in all, the battle of the powders is really strong. The market has its best powders right now. And everyone's trying to launch it or yeah, I think maybe that's not using Maybelline. I'm so sorry. I'm not using Maybelline. But I know they're good. I've heard. But I like, yeah. I like, if you know me, you know I'm a luxe makeup girl. So, yeah. This is the powders. I think that are like the top dogs in the industry right now. And everyone's trying to launch it or yeah, I think maybe that's not using Maybelline. I'm so sorry. I'm not using Maybelline. But I know they're good. I've heard. Let me know which one is your favorite and which one is not.
