Why it worked
The video leverages a popular seasonal aesthetic ('cozy fall') and a clear, low-friction call to action ('Comment PUMPKIN') to drive engagement and affiliate traffic.
Summary
The creator showcases various decorative pumpkin-themed home decor items, including glass LED pumpkins and a pumpkin-shaped pillow. The video serves as a curated haul for seasonal home styling sourced from Wayfair.
Structure
- 1Introduction of pumpkin decor
- 2Showcasing glass LED pumpkins
- 3Displaying pumpkin taper candles
- 4Highlighting a pumpkin-shaped pillow
- 5Call to action for shopping links
Product placement
(a) Wayfair ACTS: the interface/platform is used to source the decor, and the creator explicitly credits the brand for the items shown, which are the subject of the video. Removing the brand name would change the video from a Wayfair-specific haul to a generic decor video.
