The bump on your new tattoo you should never pop. This is the fastest way to completely ruin your new tattoo. Because this is called an ink sack when excess ink and plasma build up under the protective wrap covering a fresh tattoo. So while it swells and looks like a messy disaster, popping it is a huge mistake. It exposes directly dangerous bacteria and can destroy the entire healing process. So the only way to remove it safely is to simply peel the wrap from the corner and let it slowly drain on its own.
