Welcoming this dear client, whose face and name I will be keeping private “TODAY.” But she is one of my very dear friends and is widely known throughout Portugal. She is a prominent public figure. A lifelong personal friend of mine. We have been friends for thirty years. She will be one of the guests at my dinner, with a strong possibility that she may also make her entrance arm in arm with me.
