Original caption

Stella Lefty is accused of copying at least two more songs after already facing plagiarism claims on her song “Boston” interpolating Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season,” her song “Summer You Were Mine” interpolating The Chicks’ “There’s Your Trouble,” and her song “Why Wouldn’t We” interpolating Blake Shelton’s “I’ll Name The Dogs.” Now, her song “Misery” is accused of ripping off “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman and her song “seven eleven” is accused of copying “Teenage Dirtbag.” You can’t make this up. #stellalefty #country #noahkahan #thegreatestshowman #teenagedirtbag

STELLA LEFTY IS ACCUSED OF COPYING TWO MORE SONGS STELLA LEFTY IS ACCUSED OF COPYING A THIRD SONG made a video about her ripping Shelton song in case you've Lefty's huge hit Boston has been sitting pretty at Billboard Hot 100 for the last and after it many noticed that it sounded very similar to which Stella has inspiration behind creating but after posting at least 20 different covers of performing this song that went viral Kahan is a credited songwriter on the second song this happened with Summer You Were which is directly interpolating The Chicks song then the third song was Stella's song Why Wouldn't directly interpolating Blake Shelton's song I'll Name the and now we have songs four and it is just unbelievable that making this video a song off of Stella's EP from 2025 called has been going viral because it sounds very very similar to you probably know and taking all of the Nepo the equation like this is a separate situation handled differently there are plenty of artists giving credit to other artists because of interpolations or samples planned or not planned very interesting situation to compare to Olivia Rodrigo because both Stella and Olivia on their debut albums the same issue of giving interpolation credits after the fact Olivia gave credit Jack Antonoff and St Vincent for interpolating Cruel song Deja Vu which I think is ridiculous to and then she also gave credit for interpolating their Misery Business on Olivia's song good the Olivia situation to me bit more antagonistic like going after this young debut on her very her first experience industry as a taking credit where credit may not have necessarily been due but was given kind of legal the Stella situation debut album this to me that same energy because there are so many iterations of the same exact problem end of the the ultimate source of the problem Lefty herself and a lack of or direction for what she wants an artist in the comments what your thoughts hope you guys more music content

Somebody tell me this is a joke. Stella Lefty is accused of copying two more songs. Stella Lefty is accused of copying two more songs in the last four days. Last I made a video about this exact topic about her ripping off a Blake Shelton song. In case you've missed it, Lefty's huge hit "Boston" has been sitting pretty at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 for the last few weeks. And after it came out, many noticed that it sounded very similar to Noah Kahan's "Stick Season," which Stella has said was not the inspiration behind creating, but after posting at least 20 different covers of performing this song that went viral. Kahan is a credited songwriter on the second song. This happened with Stella's song "Summer You Were Mine," which is directly interpolating The Chicks' song "There's Your Trouble." Then the third song was Stella's song "Why Wouldn't We" directly interpolating Blake Shelton's song "I'll Name the Dogs." And now we have songs four and five, and it is just unbelievable that I'm here making this video again. Song off of Stella's EP from 2025 called "Misery" has been going viral because it sounds very, very similar to a song that you probably know. "Teenage Dirtbag." And taking all of the Nepo the equation, like this is a separate situation that should be handled differently. There are plenty of artists giving credit to other artists because of interpolations or samples, planned or not planned. It's a very interesting situation to compare to Olivia Rodrigo because both Stella and Olivia on their debut albums are running into the same issue of giving interpolation credits after the fact. Olivia gave credit to Taylor Swift, Jack Antonoff and St. Vincent for interpolating "Cruel Summer" song "Deja Vu," which I think is ridiculous to begin with. And then she also gave credit for interpolating their "Misery Business" on Olivia's song "Good 4 U." The Olivia situation to me feels a little bit more antagonistic, like going after this young debut artist on her very first experience in the music industry as a star, taking credit where credit may not have necessarily been due, but was given kind of legal to avoid any kind of legal issues. The Stella situation also on her debut album, this to me is not giving that same energy because there are so many iterations of the same exact problem. And at the end of the day, the ultimate source of the problem here is Lefty herself and a lack of or direction for what she wants to be as an artist. In the comments, let me know what your thoughts are. Hope you guys enjoyed this one and follow for more music content.
