I'm doubling no tripling down on my silo theory right now. Juliet is Daniel and Helen's daughter, not descendant daughter. Right. Lying about way outside. And yes, I know how the books go. I still believe that like many book adaptations, this is going to end vastly different. First, let's look at Daniel and Juliet. They look ridiculously alike. Same piercing blue eyes and that literally has Daniel staring at Juliet before emphasizing both. So, hasn't actually been 300 years. It's been more forty. Victor looks about 30 to 35 years older. I'm guessing he's not in cryosleep. The Pez dispenser is cheap plastic, yet we're supposed survived for centuries underground. And then there's Juliet's family. She had a sibling, a younger brother, Jacob. Even though families in the silo aren't supposed to have one child. So, how did that happen? I think Doctor Nichols took Juliet in and raised her for Helen. The series opening on Allison and Sheriff Becker and makes their stories carry that much more weight about having kids. You don't include Rashida Jones in a show for no reason. Victor killing himself makes even more sense. If he knows they aren't saving humanity after seeing what Silo 17, he can't justify the senseless killing of thousands just for some billionaire. Because the outside isn't naturally killing. They are. Silo one can literally exterminate an entire silo. The whole thing. The richest man in the world, Per Stensen. So what if the silo isn't a lifeboat? It's just a big experiment at his benefit. And I think the silos aren't there to save humanity. They're perfecting Vitamin D plus. That's the product. A way to erase memories, rewrite people and manufacture obedience. That's Stenson's product. Books sold us one story. The show is telling us another. My final prediction. It's gonna be a gut punch when she doesn't know Daniel anymore.
