And then he did a thread on Y and he didn't fill me with confidence. He said neither Anthropoc or open AI is acting responsibly, not a good start. And they are racing towards super intelligence and gambling with our lives. He said, the people building this believe it could kill us by the end of the decade, they actually underplay the severity of it because they do not want to scare people in public. That's pretty terrible. end of humanity and all, but it gets worse. Another anthropi employee who is still there. Remember, Jacob is leaving. This anthropi employee who is still there and his science alignment lead, a really important job. His name's Evan, said on X, yes, Jacob is correct and we believe AI could kill all humans and how nice of him to his own personal view. He then says, I personally feel it will be 10% of humanity within the next decade. 10% of humanity killed by this in the next decade. And this is from the science alignment lead at the maker of it. The question is, what can we actually do? If we pause development or put Gord rolls around it, China will outpace us and crush us. And if we continue as we are, anthropological open AI are right, this is seriously serious dangerous. We have some very tough decisions ahead.
