August 29, 2020 We publicly launched GÜDE SKIN AND ONE DAY LATER... We FIRST used our tagline The "GÜDE STUFF" August 30, 2020 Then came our logo. Then came products. Then came customers. Then came an entire company. 260,000 CUSTOMERS WORLDWIDE. HMMM... WHY DOES THIS LOOK SO FAMILIAR? Weird because a certain brand's messaging looks similar to our day one messaging CRAZY RIGHT!? Because another company shows up using confusingly similar NAME. LANGUAGE. BRANDING. And then, after we called her out, came the trademark filing. GUD LIFE COMPANY LLC filed a federal trademark application for: GÜD LIFE CO. A company with a very similar name to the one we've used for 6 years THEIR APPLICATION CLAIMS: FIRST USE: March 19, 2022 OUR DOCUMENTED PUBLIC BRAND USE: August 29, 2020 YES. MY ATTORNEYS NOTICED THAT TOO. & THIS IS WHY I'M FIGHTING Because I didn't build this, so somebody else could walk in years later and decide they wanted the GÜDE LIFE too. I built this for people who look like me. Black skin. Black men. Black women. Black queer people. The people who weren't always centered in beauty, skincare and self-care. So no.
