LIV Golf has filed for bankruptcy ⛳️💰 The Saudi backed golf league has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund pulled its multibillion pound funding. The fund had invested more than £3.6 billion into LIV Golf since its launch in 2021. LIV is now attempting to restructure, with the league reportedly seeking to terminate existing player contracts as part of the process. Stars including Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson could be affected, although any contract terminations still require court approval.
