Why it worked

The video works because it presents a relatable wedding planning detail—custom decor—while providing a genuine, cautionary tip about shipping times that adds value for other brides.

Summary

The creator shows off custom beer pong mats she ordered for her wedding from Etsy. She discusses the quality and design of the mats while sharing her experience with the shipping process.

Structure

1Introduction of custom beer pong mats
2Review of the mat design and quality
3Discussion of shipping issues with Etsy
4Final thoughts on the wedding decor

Product placement

(a) Etsy: The creator explicitly mentions ordering from Etsy and shows the packaging, which is the source of the custom mats. Removing this would change the video as it identifies the vendor. (b) None.

We're playing beer pong at our wedding, so I ordered these custom mats. They're waterproof, they're really heavy, just for the white folding tables, and I think it's such a fun touch. This was supposed to be a little bit more yellow, but it came out kind of beige, but I don't hate it. The pink is perfect. I'm unsure what this is for. Um, somebody tell me if they know. But look how cute. Cheers to the Millers. I love that. This Etsy package, I was not sure if it was going to come. It's literally been through hell and back. Oh my gosh, if you're a bride, order your Etsy packages as early as possible, cuz that was a whole mess. We got two of the mats. We'll be having two tables of beer pong. I'm seriously just obsessed. I feel like this is such a fun custom touch and Theo and I will keep these for forever and we'll host beer pong for the rest of our life.
