When a buyer is purchasing a home, the inspection is their opportunity to hire a professional to look through the property and understand what they’re buying. As a seller, your job is NOT to interfere, hide things, make the inspection difficult… and definitely DO NOT try to bribe the inspector. If there’s something wrong with the house, tell your agent. Let us know what’s going on so we can figure out the best way to handle it and make the proper disclosures when required. Trying to hide a problem usually creates a much bigger problem later. Moral of the story: Be honest. Disclose what needs to be disclosed. Let the inspector inspect. And please… don’t bribe anybody. 🎬 Based on real events.
