My kids said this is HANDS-DOWN the best bread I’ve ever made! 😳🫐🍋 And I have to admit… this Blueberry Bread with Lemon Glaze might be one of my new favorites too. Soft, full of blueberries, a little cinnamon and that sweet lemon glaze over the top! Such a good way to start my fall baking. 🍂❤️ BLUEBERRY BREAD • 1 cup brown sugar • 1/2 cup oil • 1 large egg • 1 tsp vanilla • 2 cups flour • 1/2 tsp salt • 1 tsp cinnamon • 1 tsp baking powder • 1/2 tsp baking soda • Milk • 1 cup blueberries • 1 tsp flour for coating blueberries LEMON GLAZE • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar • 3 Tbsp melted butter • 1 tsp vanilla • 1 tsp lemon juice • 1 tsp cream Combine brown sugar, oil, egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, then add the milk and mix. Toss the blueberries with 1 teaspoon flour and gently fold them into the batter. Pour into greased pans and bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until baked through. While the bread cools, mix together the powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla, lemon juice and cream. Brush the glaze over the slightly cooled bread and enjoy!
