We've got the birds laying out that we're going to freeze them whole. So I always use Texas Poultry Shrink Bags. This is the best bag. There's a lot of knockoffs like on Amazon or anywhere else, but this is the thickest, best bag. And all you do, we set our chickens out to drip dry. Some people will make like little stands they put them on. It's okay. If you don't get all the water out of it, it's not a huge deal. And then you put it butt side up into your shrink bag. I do have two sizes because some of these are larger and they might not fit in these smaller ones. But I think most of them are gonna fit in these smaller ones. Not 49 minus that is how many we have to do whole. 48 minus that because I did give a whole chicken to the dogs because they were so sweet. So, last bird. That's it. And while we did that, a storm cloud missed us. So you get zip ties with it. I'm gonna take this and I'm gonna lightly add a zip tie to each one. We're gonna lower it into 180 degree water and it's gonna shrink wrap around this and we'll pull the straw out and tighten your zip tie. And now your chicken is shrink wrapped. Perfect. And then you can put this in the freezer. It's better if you use a glove, especially you should have one probably for the scalder. So just use it to kind of knock it down. And just a couple seconds. Pull your straw out and tighten your zip tie. And now your chicken is shrink wrapped. Perfect. Every time. Last bird. That's it.
