Last time I passed out my rice, chicken, broccoli and cheese casserole, I got a message a few days later asking if I could make her more because she was hungry again. And it sucks, because I wish I could feed everyone who’s hungry. I really do. A hot homemade meal shouldn’t feel like a luxury. But when you’re living on the streets, you don’t know when or where your next meal is coming from. So I’ll keep making whatever I can, whenever I can, for whoever I can.
