Apple just released iOS 17 and these are the 10 best new features. When people don't answer on FaceTime, you can finally leave the messages, which is so much fun. Contact posters are entirely new, so when someone calls you, you can either make one or they can send you their custom poster with a photo, their name, and this is fully customizable. Standby mode is so cool. When your iPhone's charging and you put it in landscape, it'll do a custom revamped interface that show you things like the time, the date, other events that are coming up, different faces, and this is my favorite for sure. When you're talking to Siri, you don't have to say hey anymore. You just say Siri, what's the weather? Siri, remind me to do this. It's a small word change, but not having to say hey actually saves a little bit of time. Widgets are interactive from the home screen. You don't need to go into apps for iOS 17. You can just check off reminders right from your home screen. It is so much more efficient. In the health app, you can now track your mental health and over time you can actually see a view of how you've been feeling. To switch contact info with somebody in iOS 17, just use NameDrop. You tap two phones next to each other and automatically contact information will swap between devices. Offline maps are so cool. You can select certain parts of the world to download and have them on your iPhone without internet. This is a first on the iPhone. Visual look up will tell you more information about what's inside the photo that you're currently viewing. And finally, if you receive an inappropriate picture like um, like this, uh, your phone can automatically block them so that you're not just seeing that when you're out in public. iOS 17 is now available on all these iPhones, which is a ton.
