I don't know if I should be offended, but these are two of rhode's least popular or like lowest ranked blushes, and they're like two of my favorites. I think they're so stunning. Candy Apple and Sun Soak. What? Guys, stop sleeping on these two shades. I see so many videos where people are like, the only shade that's in stock is Candy Apple. Ew. What? What do you mean ew? Give them to me. I'll take them. It's not going to work for everybody. I totally understand that. I just feel like we're not fully appreciating these two shades as much as we should be. I'm going to put one on each side and show you so you can see the difference, and hopefully you can fall in love with them too. Let's start with Sun Soak. It kind of depends on the shade, but typically I like to put the rhode blush on the back of my hand first because it is so pigmented. With some of the more pinky subtle shades, I'll just apply it directly to my face. On this side, I'm going in with Sun Soak. I mean, come on. Hello. Like, what? Stunning, if I do say so myself. I know a lot of people really love Toasted Teddy, and if I say it's not my favorite, I'm going to throw it right back at you. I feel like Sun Soak for my skin tone is what Toasted Teddy is for a lot of people. I know it's not as brown, but it does give you that warmth. I know it's called Sun Soak, but this one for me reminds me of fall and like the leaves changing. I'm like re-falling in love with this shade. It's so pretty. Okay, Candy Apple. I was so intimidated by this shade when I first picked it up. It is easily my most used rhode blush shade, and I was not expecting that at all. I just feel like red blush looks so beautiful on every skin tone. Obviously, there's different undertones, but this shade is like the red blush for me. I love. Okay, we have Candy Apple on this side, Sun Soak on this side. This is what they look like side by side. You don't just have to reach for the pink shades. That's all I'm saying. Okay, I get it.
