You know what, I'm going to say it. Toasted Teddy is not the only Rhode blush shade that works well for fall. These four shades are so slept on when it comes to fall. Well, maybe not Sleepy Girl, but the rest of them I feel like are so slept on. I'm going to put all of these on for you and convince you to add them to your fall blush rotation. I'm going to start with the more orangey shades. Start with Freckle because it is the first Rhode blush shade I ever purchased and in my mind, incredibly underrated. She is just so cute. I'm going to apply it directly on my cheek so you can really see it. I'm going to try to have a heavier hand and not blend it out as much so that you can really see these shades. Because sometimes when I'm watching blush videos, people blend it out so much that I'm like, where is it? That's me. Hello, where did the shade even go? Freckle is muted, she's softer, but if you want to bump up the intensity a little bit, I would reach for Sun Soak. Another name is Sun Soak, but this shade reminds me so much of fall. I feel like the orange just reminds me of the leaves changing. I like to think that Freckle has two cousins, Sun Soak and Tan Line. This side is Sun Soak, this side is Freckle. Honestly, these two together as a combo would be so beautiful. Also, Freckle is my favorite shade to wear on my lips for a peachy nude lip combo. The next two shades, Sleepy Girl and Candy Apple. Sleepy Girl is like a muted mauve pink. It's definitely much more cool-toned and I feel like that's what makes me reach for it specifically in the fall. Okay, this is Sleepy Girl. On this side, we're going to go with one of my favorite Rhode blush shade of all time, Candy Apple. I cannot stop wearing this shade. Oh my god, it's so pretty. This is truly the red blush that made me fall in love with red blush. After I started wearing Candy Apple, I literally went out and got four more red blushes. I'm going to do a second layer. I can't help myself. I feel like some people think of Candy Apple for the summer, but one, I think it works year-round. I put this on and I'm like, oh, I'm ready to go to the pumpkin patch. Ready to make some apple cider. This side we have Sleepy Girl, this side we have Candy Apple. This is what all the shades look like swatched on my hand. They're all gorgeous. And so is Toasted Teddy. I'm not a Toasted Teddy hater. It's just, not everybody can wear Toasted Teddy. Somebody's got to wear Sun Soak. Somebody's got to wear Candy Apple. And if that's got to be me, well, then it'll be me.
