Wierd thrift finds turned into whimsical decor

Does your thrift store just have boring or worse yet, wierd stuff? Mine does too! But I don’t let that stop me! Here’s how I turn wierd things I thrift (OK maybe some of them aren’t that weird but they’re certainly boring and ordinary🙃) into whimsical decor! I found a $4 ceramic duck... just needs a little DIY to become a whimsical lamp! I snagged this one for just $4, added a thrifted mirror, and a child's chair. It makes a perfect vanity for a little girl's room! This old shelf is a true antique. but paired with some thrifted curtains it makes the perfect bed canopy! I used a lot of hot glue to attach these thrifted curtains. And suddenly, it went from an abandoned shelf to a fun little vanity for my daughter's room! I collected a lot of cheap old hankies... all you have to do it tie them to make a beautiful pennant banner! My thrift store sells them for real cheap, so I collected a lot and tied them at their corners to make a sweet little pennant banner. So remember, take your creativity with you to the thrift store because even the most ordinary and sometimes weird items can become true things of beauty with just a little reimagining.
