My take on Sydney's Sweeneys Ad As a Christian "It's just a sports ad" But it's much deeper than that An ad depicting nudity on YouTube Kids, directly in front of the eyes of the younger generation. I don't want my son growing up in a world where nudity is normalized. I don't want my daughter growing up believing she has to show more of herself to be worth more. It's a very good reminder for all of us. women believing their worth comes from what their bodies look like rather than what their bodies can do should NOT be normalized It's about teaching our sons and daughters what dignity, purity, and self-worth look like It was never about "just sports" for Christians It's about protecting innocence It's about honoring women for more than their bodies We need to stop asking, "What's the big deal?" and start asking, "What are we teaching our children?" Because protecting children isn't about being judgmental It's about being intentional if we keep telling ourselves that sexualized content is harmless because it's funny, entertaining, advertising, or "just sports," eventually our children will stop seeing it as inappropriate too Stop exposing our children to nudity There is something that makes me cry
