I'm gonna speak for women when I say this. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong. Scientifically, I'm right. Based off of the science surrounding biological women, women regulate off of oxytocin, which is the chemical that is released whenever you do something. That is kind of almost our conceptual idea of love, like comfort, physically or even through words. It's when you feel good because somebody is connecting with you. You feel safe with them, almost. Men regulate off of dopamine, which is like progress. It's like the. It's the chemical that's responsible for getting you up in the morning and making you go do things, complete goals, feel like you're accomplishing something, like progressing towards the future. That's what dopamine is for. And since men regulate off of that, they feel the need to solve every single problem that comes in their way. So whenever a girl or the girlfriend comes up to the guy and gives them a problem they're having, the guy instantaneously goes to solving and trying to fix whatever issue the girl is having. That's not what she wants. She wants to regulate her oxytocin. She wants you to reassure her. She wants you to, like, comfort her. She wants you to hug her, tell her that it's gonna be okay, because she's obviously smart enough to figure out how to fix the problem. If she comes up to you and asks you how to solve the problem, that's a different story. But if she's just telling you the problem, most of the time, the majority of the time, according to the science, they just want your comfort because they want some oxytocin to regulate so they can calm down and figure out the solution on their own.
