I'm begging you to save this for your next fall trip because this is truly one of our favorite trips we've ever taken. We had the most amazing stay at Thyme, The Cotswolds. This place has ruined every other hotel stay for me. The best way to describe it is that it feels like you physically stepped into the set from the movie The Holiday. The attention to detail here is unmatched. We spent the days at their gorgeous spa, taking the bikes out into the neighboring towns, wandering the grounds with the picnic basket. It's so lovely and slope. The food program is ridiculous. Truly farm to table. Almost everything on their plate was pulled straight from their gardens that morning and those same gardens supply all the wildflower arrangements tucked into every single corner of the estate. The rooms are truly what sealed the deal though. The owner's daughter, Karen, hand paints the botanicals they grow on the estate and they turn her paintings into the wallpaper and linens for each room. It's so stunning and feels so personal and warm. Every tiny detail is just deeply thoughtful. So if you're looking for a dreamy English countryside reset, this is the spot.
