As a New Yorker being in the English countryside. My granny is the best reset I could ever ask for. This is honestly what every single day looks like. Waking up to peace and quiet. No buses or sirens or people speaking out. Whenever I'm here, I truly feel like I'm living two different lives. Having the craziness and excitement of New York City, but being able to come here and just find peace and quiet in the small things. My granny lives in Banbury, which is a town in Oxfordshire. And honestly, every single day I'm here, I'm trying to keep up with her. She's 90 years old, but she literally doesn't stop. I finally caught her resting for once. Until of course, being a granddaughter then I am, I will grow up. After we woke up, had breakfast, went on a really long walk. I did some skincare, showered, and then got ready for my favorite thing of all time, which is a Sunday roast. I love going to this pub for roast on Sundays. We had such a great dinner, such a good week. But it's always the hardest part saying goodbye to her. I literally was sobbing when I walked out that door yesterday. I was obviously very happy to see my roast. I was obviously very happy to see my roast.
