36 hours ago I was robbed at the Milford, CT service plaza in Connecticut. I really don't want to make this my whole entire personality. I don't want to talk about it forever, but there are a few more things that I'd like to say. First things first, even if the two people involved don't get caught, my point of making these videos is to just make you more aware. Some things that I didn't do that I wish I did. Wish I didn't run towards the car, I wish I paid more attention to the license plate. I wish I paid attention to what they looked like. I just got like, a race. I think that possible mask on. All of this has been shared with the police department. I've been reached out to by two news outlets who I said I'm interested in sharing my story. I want to spread awareness on this as possible. And especially if you live near there, of course, you want to be aware of it. I just think that if anything can come from this, it's just the next person that stops to pump gas. Thanks, oh shit, should lock my car, should hold my bag, should have my phone on me. I think that this could have happened again today. I think it could happen any time, anywhere. People that are gonna say that's on me. I'm willing to take fault for that to a certain extent because at the same time, like you also shouldn't be committing fucking crimes. I just don't think that victimizing the victim is like helpful. So if you're making those comments, I'm not reading them. I did talk to Richard this morning and he was just glad that I was okay. He feels that he was in the right place at the right time as well. And I'm just so, so endlessly grateful for good people like him. There weren't many people around. It was 7:00 AM, 7:25 in the morning. So there's nothing else I can do from my end. I don't know if they'll ever like get caught or get repercussions for their actions, but there's a chance they could see my videos and if you're watching this, I hope you enjoyed getting every card of mine declined and a pair of AirPods and a phone that I locked you out of. I hope it was worth it. As for my mental health, I feel more in a fog today than yesterday. I think yesterday was adrenaline, adrenaline, adrenaline. I was like, I gotta get everything done, order new license, report it stolen, do everything that you need to do like change locks. Every single safety measure that I did today after that I did today. After not sleeping last night, I mean, I look like fucking shit. There's no denying it. I just, I feel filled with gratitude, but also just feeling very violated. It's not a good feeling. Um, and I know that I'm gonna move forward with this, especially with like things I have upcoming next week that like, you know, I just gotta move on with my life. But for today and for this weekend, I'm just gonna really let myself feel it. I'm not gonna fake it, put on some other content. And eventually, the world will keep turning, the world will move on from this, but I'm really glad that I could share and help people be more aware when they are traveling or just anywhere in life. Stay safe.
