LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

Become the Dark Knight and battle Gotham City’s most infamous DC Super-Villains in a story-led, open-world action-adventure game.

Why it worked

The video successfully blends a high-energy, real-world 'side quest' experience with a clear demonstration of the product's gameplay, making the promotion feel like a natural part of the creator's lifestyle content.

Summary

The creator documents a promotional day in New York City celebrating the launch of the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game and its new Mayhem Collection DLC. She visits a LEGO store and the Microsoft Experience Center to play the game, collect stamps, and receive an exclusive minifigure.

If you love LEGO sets and you love LEGO Batman, you're going to be so excited about this because LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is out now and it just got a new Mayhem Collection DLC where you get to play as the Joker and Harley Quinn. I've been obsessed with LEGO bricks for years, so it's a dream to be partnering with The LEGO Group for this video. For Batman Day, I got to celebrate the launch in New York City and the whole day was set up like a little side quest. First up was the LEGO store where I built a Batman theme to make and take and got my first stamp in the LEGO Passport. Then I took my passport over to the Microsoft Experience Center to play the new DLC and in the Mayhem Collection, the Joker and Harley Quinn are staging a breakout from Arkham Asylum and they each have their own gadgets, outfits and abilities. So the chaos looks totally different depending on who you're playing. Getting to be the villains for once is honestly so fun. You can play solo or two player split screen with someone else, which is my favorite way to game, and it's the kind of game every age can get into. After I played I got my second stamp and with both stamps I got to take home this exclusive retro Batman minifigure. If you wanna play it yourself, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and the Mayhem Collection DLC are out now. If you're new here, I'm Jacey, a certified hobby girl and I post about cozy hobbies like gaming, crafting and reading every single week, so follow for more and the next one's coming soon.
