That tiny white bump on the waterline? It’s a capped meibomian gland and those lash extensions are definitely part of the problem. Research has found ocular-surface changes in over 70% of lash extension wearers after just ONE month of wear. Extensions can make proper lid hygiene difficult and may contribute to: - Blepharitis - Dry eye symptoms - Meibomian gland dysfunction - Styes & blocked glands When I start seeing clogged glands and inflammation like this, I recommend removing the extensions and focusing on restoring the health of the eyelids and ocular surface. Long lashes shouldn’t come at the expense of healthy eyes. Would you remove your lash extensions if your eye doctor showed you this? 👇 #eyehealth #dryeyes #dryeyespecialist #lashes #lashesextension 🎥: @lashbyc
